How to make a hellyn
Ingredients:

5 parts mercy

3 parts humour

3 parts energy
Method:
Blend at a low speed for 30 seconds. Add a little lovability if desired!

I got my keyboard back (not the mouse though, but I do have one of those scary Wacom pads that work just fine sometimes). Now I got a million things to do, one of them has to do with Christmas Gifts, the other to make my new LJ look nice ::nods::

Oh, and if you're European: GO VOTE NOW!

I don't know if I mentioned it here, but I don't have a keyboard nor a mouse for my computer anymore, which is the reason why I haven't been online in a while (yes, it is very painful). They got borrow about a week ago so that mum could be the magazine finished and sent of to the printers and what not. The CD will be off to Skåne (or wherever) on Monday (the day I graduate from Upper Secondary School - yay!) so I should have them back about then.

I'm at a friend's computer right now so I won't be able to do more than writing this and check my mail.

Why does this almost always happen to me?

There's an evil virus that's threatening mankind
Not state of the art, a serious state of the mind
The muggers, the backstabbers, the two faced elite
A menace to society, a social disease

Rape of the mind is a social disorder
The cynics, the apathy oneupmanship order

Watching beginnings of social decay
Gloating or sneering at life's disarrey
Eating away at your own self esteem
Pouncing on every word that you might be saying

Rape of the mind is a social disorder
The cynics, the apathy oneupmanship order

Superficially smiling a shake of the hand
As soon as the back is turned treachery is planned

Rape of the mind is a social disorder
The cynics, the apathy oneupmanship order

Watching beginnings of social decay
Gloating or sneering...at life's disarrey

When every good thing's laid to waste
By all the jealuosy and hate
By all the acid wit and rapier lies

And every time you think you're safe
And when you go to turn away
You know they're sharpening all their paper knives

All in your mind
All in your head
Try to relate it

All in your mind
All in your head
Try to escape it

Without a conscience they destroy
And that's thing that they enjoy
They're a sickness that's in all our minds

They want to sink the ship and leave
The way they laugh at you and me
You know it happens all the time

All in your mind
All in your head
Try to relate it

All in your mind
All in your head
Try to escape it

The rats in the cellar you know who you are...
Or do you?

Watching beginnings of social decay...

I'm a bit too busy to be online, but I just wanted to say that people making computer viruses really should find themselves a nicer hobby!

Five more of my friends are without computers, and it's not all that sad because they can't get online, it's sad because they got school papers to finish.

This, found at What if Lord of the Rings were written by..., cracks me up.

Oh, and only sleeping for four hours last night is finally catching up with me.

ETA: What if Sigmund Freud had written LotR?, so damn good! And if A.A. Milne had done so. Then one might wonder what would happen if Terry Pratchett wrote that book, and if my beloved William Shakespeare did.

An up date on my life.

A friend of mine got a virus in her computer, another one has been without an internet connection for nearly a month.

I saw Le Pacte des Loupes tonight (wonderful, beautiful movie that everyone should see!!!).

And Goddess forbid, I might have become a forum person.

I hate the Easter witch tradition, and I mean it!

Does anyone know what I woke up to this morning? Well I’ll tell you: the damn door ringing. I thought “Everyone else is awake, someone else will take it.” but they of course didn’t, and then I thought “Maybe whom ever it is will go away if I ignore it.” but did they go away? NO! They did not. They kept ringing and ringing like there was no tomorrow.

When I at last took pity upon the small children I opened the door and gave then each a fiver. I lost 20SEK on them - and they didn’t even have the grace to be content about it! When I was their age I got 10SEK a week to buy candy what ever I liked, I would have been ecstatic! Of course, children these days are spoiled.

I’m listening to heavy metal, writing crappy poetry that sadly is sort of required for a story of mine. I can’t write poetry to save my life, honestly.

I just finished plotting the story, and guess what? No dragons. So I guess Dragon Hunters is a bad name then, but it will be the work name for now.

Some icons and a banner up at [info]anothersface. I might stop posting stuff there and put it in this journal instead. Somehow that feels much better.

I’ve begun writing my Dragon Hunters story, and just noticed that I’m battling Mr Pratchett and Mr Gaiman in how many footnotes someone can put on each page of a fictional work.

Of course, I based the story on Tolkien’s world, so it’s probably understandable. I’ve been long in love with the Avari, so it has/will become an AU/”Original” story based on Tolkien’s work, Kelevala, and the Poetic Edda.

Déjà Vu?
